Monsoon Conditions to Revive Due To Low Pressure Formed Over NorthWest Bay of Bengal on 18th August 2017
|The good news is that after the lull monsoon spell, hopes of good rain has arised due to some weather activity in Bay of Bengal.
Heavy clouds started developing (shown in satellite picture below) over west central Bay of Bengal in the morning of 18th August 2017 in anticipation in formation of a low pressure area and eventually it formed as low pressure area in northwest Bay of Bengal in the afternoon.

The picture below shows the location of the low pressure area and it’s direction of movement which will give rain at many places as mentioned below
This low pressure will cross Andhra Pradesh and will bring moderate to heavy rain over Telanga and then over Marathawada and Vidharba on 19th & 20th August 2017.
Districts of Jalgaon, Malegaon, Nandurbar, Dhule likely to get good rain on 21st & 22nd August 2017. Other parts of Maharashtra apart from coastal belt won’t receive much rainfall.
The low pressure area may intensify into depression and pour heavy to very heavy over west Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and in districts of Konkan around 24th to 26th.
