Weekly forecast for the week from 10th March 2025 to 16th March 2025

Western Disturbance (WD)
A fresh WD will be affecting north India from 10th March.

High Pressure HP:
An elongated HP area lies over Gujarat West Madhya Pradesh North Madhya Maharashtra and West Vidarbha.
The significance of this HP is that it’s location on land area such as Kutch can bring hot day or heat wave conditions over Gujarat & Maharashtra.

A cyclonic circulation lies over North East Bangladesh.

Rainfall / Snowfall:
On 10th 11th and 12th March – Jammu and Kashmir, Leh, Ladakh & North Himachal Pradesh will observe rainfall or snowfall.
Kashmir may experience heavy rain on 11th March.
On 12th 13th and 14th Arunachal Pradesh and Assam will observe rainfall.
Assam will experience heavy rain on 12th and 13th March.
On 11th and 12th Tamil Nady Kerala will observe rainfall with thunderstorm.
On 11th Tamilnadu will experience heavy rainfall due to thunderstorm.

Hot Day Conditions:
Central West India will observe rise in day temperature.
With respect to above mentioned high pressure, Baroda, Surat and Ahmedabad will experience maximum temperature of 40 deg C or more than 40 deg C on 10th 11th and 12th March. On 12th 13th and 14th the hot days will shift east ward. Nagpur Chandrapur South Chhattisgarh will experience 40 or more than 40 degree Celsius.
