Landfall of Cyclone FANI Update – 3rd May
As per ECMRF model cyclone FANI crossed North of Brahmapur around Chhatrapur area around 9 am of 3rd May 2019. Landfall of a cyclone is considered when the eye of the Cyclone enters the land area.
Pipili, Puri, Jagatsinghpur,, Kendrapara, Basudebpur will face storm surge and heavy rain and strong wind. Chatrapur, Satapada, Polasara Ganjam Asika Brahmapur will face very to extremely heavy rain.
Bhubaneshwar area also face extremely heavy rain from 12 pm
