Monsoon Watch report ending 9th June 2018
On 07th monsoon covered full coastal Karnataka and most part of South Interior Karnataka and Goa and some part of North Interior Karnataka.
On 08th monsoon covered full Karnataka state and some part of South Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada and Vidarbha.
On 09th monsoon advanced up to Thane, Mumbai and more part of Madhya Maharashtra Marathwada Vidarbha Chhattisgarh and Odisha.
Arabian sea branch of monsoon will take rest during next week from starting from 10th June 2018. Because the low pressure area existing in Bay of Bengal is moving towards Bangladesh and further the monsoon has to wait for forming another system in the Bay of Bengal. Rainfall activity will be reduced over the area covered by monsoon current.
