Realised Weather For Last Week and Forecast Till 19th January 2019

Realised Weather Last Week:

Cyclone Pabuk over Andaman sea weakened into a depression on 6th January.

It became a deep depression in southeast Bay of Bengal and moved northwards.
On 8th morning weakened into a low pressure area near North Andaman sea and Myanmar coast.

Western Disturbance:
The two Western Disturbances passed over J & K and a”*djoining areas. Due to this Northern part of India was under the grip of cold weather conditions. Dense fog was reported at various states of Haryana, Delhi, Chandigarh and in Northeast region of Meghalya, Nagaland.

Also cold wave conditions prevailed at some places in Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh and Telanga on 9th & 10 January.

There was fall in night temperature at most of the places in India except for southern peninsular India.

The lowest minimum temperature recorded at 1.8°C at Adampur (Punjab).

Rainfall were recorded in Northern India at J&K, Himachal Pradesh, UP, Uttarakhand, Haryana, PUnjab under the effect of Western Disturbance.

Also rainfall were recorded on many days at Andaman & Nicobar islands and Northeast region of India.

Forecast
Two western disturbance likely to pass northern parts of India on 15th and 18th January.

Due to this there will be fall in night temperature in Northern India and rainfall at many places.

Rainfall will also occur at one or two places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Southern parts of Tamilnadu.

Weather will be dry in rest of the places over the country
