Weather Forecast for Week Ending on 27th April 2019

In the last week ending the highest maximum temperature recorded over the plains was 45.5°C at Khargaon (west Madhya Pradesh).

Last week North West India faced thunder storm activity. Interior Gujarat, Vidarbha and West MP also faced thunder storm activity due to strong Western Disturbance. Day temperature came down by 3 to 4 degree Celsius.

In the coming week again day temperature will rise. Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Gujarat state and interior Maharashtra will face increase of day temperature due to dry wind and intense day radiation. At some places heat wave will prevail. South West Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Madhya Pradesh and entire Maharashtra ( excluding Konkan) will observe heat wave condition. Maximum temperature will be above 40 or 41 degree Celsius. In the second half of the week Surat Nasik Jalgaon Akola and Nagpur will be too hot with temperature reaching more than 43 degree Celsius. Mumbai also will reach to 36 degree Celsius.

Telangana, Interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Amdhra Pradesh will observe thunder storm activity due to wind discontinuity.
