Note on Monsoon watch.

Monsoon did not advance over the country from 04th July till today. The trough was more or less very close to foot
hills of Himalaya. The upper air cyclonic circulation forming over Bay of Bengal around 08th or 09th may slowly pull the trough south ward. Current situation of trough gives rain to hill area or northern part of central India. So rainfall occurred over Uttarakhand, UP, Himachal Pradesh and North East states. The system of Bay of Bengal will start moving to westnorthwestward and join the cyclonic circulation over South Rajasthan. This condition will facilitate the advancement of the monsoon to North West India. Southwest Monsoon will cover the whole country by 15th or 16th of July.
