Realised weather during the week 10-06-2018 to 16-06-2018
Last week was break like situation in monsoon current. As no system developed in the Bay of Bengal. Monsoon did not show any further advancement. Monsoon current was weak. Only Kerala coast and North East sector of the country got heavy rain.
Had the monsoon covered full India this situation would have been called “Break in Monsoon”. Next week also no sign of formation of low pressure is being seen.
Monsoon advancement depends on
formation of low pressure system over the Bay of Bengal.
Forecast for the week 17-06-2018 to 23-06-2018 for Gujarat. Maharashtra & Goa state:
In the coming week due to feeble cyclonic circulation Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg including Goa will get heavy rain on 17th and 18th June. From 19th onward rainfall amount will decrease till 22nd June.
Districts of Vidarbha will have dry weather or light rain till 21st June.
On 22nd June central part of Vidarbha like Akola, Amravati, Yavatmal, Buldhana and Nagpur may get heavy rain due to cyclonic circulation developing over the area. Rest all the districts of Maharashtra will have light to moderate passing showers during the week.
Monsoon watch
Next week also improvement is not expected in the monsoon current. Farmers of Telangana, Marathwada and Vidarbha, who are dependent upon rain for the crop, have to be care full while sowing the seeds. Because till 25th of June, improvement in the monsoon season is not expected.
