Weekly Weather Report Ending 19th May 2018

Realised weather during the week 13-05-2018 to 19-05-2018.

During the last week Mumbai region was hot. Heat wave at one two places was observed by Vidarbha and interior Maharashtra. Chandrapur and Brahmpuri in Vidarbha recorded highest maximum of 47.8 degree Celsius. Interior Maharashtra faced thunder shower also in the first half of the week. During the week North West India continue to observed thunderstorm (Andhi) in the first half of the week. At some places hail storm also occurred in Haryana. Due to thunderstorm casualties also took place.

Forecast for the week 20-05-2018 to 26-05-2018 for Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa:

Next week also there will be no relief in day temperature for interior Maharashtra , Vidarbha and Gujarat region. Vidarbha will observe heat wave at one or two places during next week. Only South Maharashtra Districts and South Konkan districts like Latur, Osmanabad, Sangli, Satara, Solapur, Ratnagiri, Goa, Kolhapur, Sindhudurg and Pune will observe thundershower during latter half of the week.
