Weekly Weather Report Ending 21st April 2018

Realised weather during the week 15-04-2018 to 21-04-2018:

During the last week, Vidarbha was hot specially eastern parts and it was under the grip of heat wave. Day temperature recorded on 20^th April by Chandrapur was 45.9 degree Celsius.

Mumbai was little bit cool in the first half of the week but on 17^th and 18^th Mumbai recorded 35.6 degree Celsius.

A wind discontinuity also is there from North Interior Karnataka to south Tamilnadu which brought light rain over Karnataka and Kerala state with thunder activity.

Forecast for the week 22-04-2018 to 28-04-2018.

Eastern part of Vidarbha will observe heat wave. Temperature of Vidarbha will be above 44 deg C. Temperature of Gujarat state also will be 40 deg C or above 40 deg C.

In the next week there won’t be drop in day temperature in the state of Gujarat, Maharashtra except Vidarbha and Goa. Whole region including Gujarat state was dry during the week. Saurashtra and Kutch also was under the grip of heat wave for some days.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower is likely to occur at one or two places over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and at number of places in the state of Kerala in coming week.
