Weekly Weather Report Ending 25th August 2018
Realised weather during the week 19-08-2018 to 25-08-2018.
During the last week A low has formed over North West Bay of Bengal on 19th of August. On 20th it moved to North Odisha coast. From 22nd it entered and moved up to Northwest Madhya Pradesh and became less marked. During the journey it gave good rain to Telangana, interior Odisha Vidarbha and North Madhya Maharashtra. Even South Gujarat received good rain.
Forecast for the week 26-08-2018 to 01-09-2018.
A Low Pressure Area will be forming in Bay of Bengal on 26th of August. European model is suggesting that it will move West North West direction. If it move West North West then forecast will be as below:
- On 26 and 27 moderate rainfall will occur over districts of North Madhya Maharashtra, South Gujarat and Konkan and Goa.
- On 28 and 29 as the low will be shifting west ward there will be heavy rain over the districts of Vidarbha, North Madhya Maharashtra and North Gujarat districts.
- From 30th onward rainfall activity will decrease.
Monsoon watch.
A low will be forming over North West Bay of Bengal. This system will be moving West North West direction and it will pull the monsoon trough south ward. At present it is at the north of its normal position. Rainfall activity will be increasing over central India and central west India. Coming 15 days there is no sign of monsoon season to be less active. One more low may form over North Bay of Bengal in the first week of September.
