Weekly Weather Report Ending 5th May 2018

Realised weather during the week 29-04-2018 to 05-05-2018.
During the last week in North West India dust storm occurred over Rajasthan and West UP. It was very intense and caused death of 100 people. The reason of this dust storm was interaction of induced cyclonic circulation of western disturbance with convective activity over the area.

Northeast part of India received good rain in first part of week. Kerala also received rainfall at isolated places.

In Maharashtra, Vidarbha and districts of Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat state observed hot days. Coastal area of Gujarat and Maharashtra was little bit cool compare to interior area because of sea breeze. The reason for Maharashtra and West Madhya Pradesh to become hot is northwesterly wind blowing from Rajasthan and adjoining Pakistan. Due to this hot wind east Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha are reporting temperatures above 40 degree Celsius.

Forecast for the week 06-05-2018 to 12-05-2018.
In next week the Majarashtra, Gujarat and Goa will be dry and hot. As the wind pattern will not change. Over Gujarat and Kutch temperatures will be between 41 and 43 degree Celsius.

Interior Maharashtra including Vidarbha and Marathwada temperatures will be between 42 and 45 degree Celsius. As the anticyclone of Arabian sea will be moving towards Mumbai the temperature of north Konkan will increase by 2 to 3 degree.
