Realised Weather over Maharashtra

Weather Summary for last week from 21st May to 27th May 2017:
Last week rainfall occurred at isolated places over South Konkan – Goa on 22,23,24th May, over South Madhya Maharashtra on 23,24,26 and 27th May and over Marathwada on 26th and 27th May.

Weather was dry over rest of region and Vidarbha during the week. Vidarbha experienced moderate to sever heat wave during the week. Full week North Westerly wind prevailed over Vidarbha, North Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat state.

Temperature:
47.2 deg C recorded at Chandrapur in Vidarbha on 25th May was the highest maximum temperature in the Maharashtra during the week. Maximum temperature over Maharashtra were above normal and sometime appreciably above normal.

Mumbai (Santacruz) recorded 34.7 deg C on 23rd May was the highest during the week. Rest of the days it were between 33.9 and 34.4 deg c.

Forecast for next week (28th May to 04th June 2017):

Maharashtra and Goa will experience partly cloudy and moist weather in first half of coming week.

Rainfall:
In second half i.e. after 30th May, most of the districts in Maharashtra will observe rain at isolated places. From 29th May to 03rd June rainfall will occur at isolated places over Vidarbha. On 02nd June there is chances of thunder storm over Vidarbha.

Heatwave:
Vidarbha is very likely to face heat wave tomorrow that is 28th May.
