Intensification of Low Pressure in Arabian sea & Monsoon Advance 2023

Weekly forecast for the week from 05 June to 11 June 2023:

Monsoon has covered up to Minicoy, half of Sri Lanka, Andaman Nicobar and south Myanmar.

Low Pressure System Over Arabian Sea
A cyclonic circulation has formed over Arabian sea west of Minicoy. This cyclonic circulation will become low pressure area during next two days. It may intensify further and move in northerly direction.

Low Pressure System Over Bay of Bengal:
Another cyclonic circulation has formed over Bay of Bengal at Myanmar coast. This cyclonic circulation will not become low pressure area as per model.

Rain & Thunder Activity
Kerala, Lakshadweep, South Interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh will observe rain or thunderstorm.

Tamil Nadu Kerala will face heavy rain at some places.

Gilgit, Baltistan, Jammu and Kashmir Himachal Pradesh will also observe rain or thunderstorm due to western disturbance.

Heat Wave Conditions
Bihar, Jharkhand and West Bengal will face heat wave conditions during next week. Bihar may face at some places severe heat wave conditions.
Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana also will be in the grip of heat wave till 07th of June.

Day temperature of Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura also will be above normal by 3 to 4 degree Celsius.
