Monsoon Will Be Slightly Lower Than Normal in 2022

Monsoon condition over India during the period from June to September 2022:

This year India Ocean Dipole (IOD) index is not supporting to Indian monsoon system. During the monsoon period the IOD index is negative. Negative index is not favorable for Indian monsoon.

As per WMO, La Nina condition will continue till May but after that ENSO condition will be neutral.

Above situation indicate that monsoon will be slightly lower than normal.
