WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR COMING WEEK FROM 8TH AUGUST TO 14TH AUGUST 2022
The Well Marked Low Pressure Area formed over Northwest & adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal off south Odisha and adjoining north Andhra Pradesh coasts. It is likely to concentrate into a Depression during next 24 hours and move westnorthwestwards across Odisha and Chhattisgarh.
Another low pressure area is likely to form over north Bay of Bengal around 13th/14th August. It is also likely to intensify into a depression over north Bay of Bengal.
The monsoon trough is very likely to be active & will remain south of its normal position during most days of the week.
An eastwest shear zone runs roughly along 19° N over North Peninsular India will persist during week.
The offshore trough at mean sea level from Maharashtra coast to Karnataka coast will persist for next 3 days.
MJO will be in phase 1 & will support enhancement of convective activity over the Bay of Bengal (BoB) during first half ofweek
Negative IOD conditions are likely to develop during remaining part of the monsoon season.
La Niña conditions are likely to continue during remaining part of the monsoon season
