Monsoon Advance
As per IMD, the Southwest monsoon covered the entire Karnataka, more parts of Maharashtra, Telangana, entire Tamil Nandu and entire North East states (as shown in the picture – Source IMD). The situation is favourable for the advancement of monsoon over Odisha, Jharkhand and Bihar.
Low-Pressure Systems
A cyclonic circulation formed over West Bengal. Around 11 a low-pressure area will form over the North Bay of Bengal. An offshore trough is developed from Maharashtra to the North Kerala coast.
Thunderstorm Activity
On 07th, 08th, 09th June rain with thunderstorms will be observed by Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Interior Karnataka and East Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rain is expected in Northeast states.
Rainfall
West Coast will face a strong wind with rain. On 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th June Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, East Uttar Pradesh, Konkan and South Gujarat coast will have rain with one or two heavy spell.
