WEATHER REPORT FROM 05TH TO 11TH OCTOBER 2020 AND FORECAST FOR WEEK FROM 12TH TO 18TH OCTOBER 2020

Monsoon Withdrawal 2020

As per IMD till 11th October 2020, the monsoon has been withdrawn till Faizabad, Fatehpur, Nowgong, Rajgarh, Ratlam, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Porbandar as shown in the image below:

 

Low Pressure Systems

In last week, on 1st October the low which was formed it existed till 5th of October this week. It remained restricted in the Northwest parts of Bay of Bengal throughout.

Another low pressure was formed in North Andaman Sea on 09th October. It moved in West-Northwest direction and It intensified into a depression on 11th October 2020.

 

Monsoon Activity:

Monsoon rainfall was active throughout the week over North east parts of India and Chattisgarh. In the later half, it was active over Vidarbha, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Kerala.

 

Forecast for next week from 12th Oct to 18th Oct 2020:

Low Pressure System

The last week’s depression formed on 11th October will intensify as a deep depression by 12th night or 13th early morning it will cross Andhra Pradesh coast. It will further weaken and move in West Northwest wards direction through Telangana, Marathwada, Maharashtra Maharashtra and Konkan.

Rainfall

Under the influence of the above system this week Telangana, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan will get thundering and rain.
