Monsoon Advance

  • During the last week on 10th June monsoon covered whole Tamil Nadu.
  • On 10th June Monsoon entered in North East states. It covered most part of Mizoram, Manipur and Tripura and some part of Nagaland and Assam.
  • On 11th June Monsoon covered whole Karnataka entire Rayalaseema and entered in most part of Telangana, some part of Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Chhattisgarh and some more part of Assam Meghalaya.
  • On 12th June monsoon covered entire Telangana and entire Bay of Bengal.
  •  On 13th June monsoon covered full Odisha and West Bengal.
  • On 14th June monsoon covered entire Maharashtra most part of Chhattisgarh Jharkhand Bihar.
  • Thus monsoon covered full peninsular India most part of Arabian sea entire Bay of Bengal and most part of NorthEast India.

 

Low Pressure Over Bay

  • On 9th June, a low pressure area formed over East Central Bay of Bengal.
  • On 11th June the low pressure area moved to West central and adjoining North West Bay of Bengal.
  • On 13th June the low pressure over north Coastal Andhra Pradesh and adjoining Odisha has become less marked but associated cyclonic circulation lies over interior Odisha and east Madhya Pradesh till the weekend.

 

Rainfall

Andaman Nicobar, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Coastal AP, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Gujarat region, entire Maharashtra, MP, Assam Meghalaya, Nagaland Manipur Mizoram Tripura observed good rainfall.

  • 08 June – Harnai 9 cm, Agartala 8 cm.
  • 09 June – Igatpuri, Bhavnagar-  11 cm each Harnai – 8 cm
  • 10 June – Udaipue – 10cm. Car Nicobar 8 cm, Amreli, Junagarh – 7 each
  • 11 June – Parbhani 19cm, Hanamkonda, Karwali, Car Nicobar 12 each, Nandyal 10, Karwar 8
  • 12 June – Jalpaiguri 13 Murmugao 11 Goa HonavarNandyal 9 each
  • 13 June – Mehsana 14, Champaval, Vengurla, Honawar, Darjeeling – 8 each
  • 14 June – Sundargarh 16, Aurangabad 12, Jharsiguda 10, Cherapunji, Jalgaon, Matheran – 8 each.

  • 08 June – Bikaner West Rajasthan 41.6 Deg. C.
  • 09 June – Ganganagar, Phalodi, West Rajasthan 42.5 Deg. C.
  • 10 June – Ganganagar 43.3 deg. C
  • 11 June – Bikaner 44.3 deg.C
  • 12 June – Bikaner 44.8 deg.C
  • 13 June – Ganganagar 45.0 deg C
  • 14 June – Phalodi 44.4 deg C

 

Forecast for next starting from 15th June to 21st June:

In the North Bay of Bengal and adjoining West Bengal, a cyclonic circulation will form. By 21st June the circulation will become a low-pressure area and it will move West North West direction as per model.

On 15, 16, 17 June Konkan, North Madhya Maharashtra, South West MP, Bihar, North Chhattisgarh will get good rainfall. ,

On 18, 19, 20, 21 June – Gujarat region, Saurashtra, Kutch, North Chhattisgarh, East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Interior Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh will get good rainfall.
