Weather Report From 22nd-28th June & Forecast For 28th To 05th July 2020

Realized weather during the last week from 22 June to 28 June

Last week heavy rain occurred over Northeast states of the country. Rivers were flooded. Specially Assam and Meghalaya experienced heavy to extremely heavy rain. Bihar also affected due to lightning and rain.

 

Monsoon Advance Over Country

  • On 23rd June Southwest monsoon covered the whole Arabian sea. Most parts of Kutch and some more parts of the Gujarat region Madhya Pradesh Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
  • On 24th June further advanced and covered full Gujarat state whole Madhya Pradesh entire Uttarakhand Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
  • On 25th June southwest monsoon further advanced some more part of Rajasthan, remaining part of Uttar Pradesh and Himanchal Pradesh entire Delhi some part of Haryana.
  • On 26th June finally, Southwest monsoon covered the whole country. Full week eastern part of monsoon trough was at the foothills of Himalaya. This situation gave heavy rain to North-East states and adjoining east states.

 

Forecast–  (29th June to 05th July)

During coming week North East states of India will continue to get rain but intensity will reduce. Off shore trough will be shifting from Karnataka Kerala to North Konkan – South Karnataka.

A cyclonic circulation will form over South Uttar Pradesh and adjoining East Madhya Pradesh on 2nd or 3rd July as per the model. In the second half of the week, East Uttar Pradesh adjoining East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and adjoining Marathwada will get rain due to the presence of this circulation. The circulation will become a little strong and due to that offshore trough will become strong due to this situation.

North Konkan, South Gujarat region and Saurashtra will be having rain in the last days of the week. West Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan adjoining North Gujarat region also will get little rain.

Tamil Nadu West Rajasthan Rayalaseema will not get rain at all.

The rest of the country will get little rain at isolated places.
