Realized weather during the last week from 29th June to 05 July 2020:
During the beginning of last week, North East states continued getting rain. Bihar.
West Bengal, Jharkhand, East Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Interior Maharashtra also got good rain.
In the second half of the week West Madhya Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat state, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, had good rainfall.
Districts of North Konkan including Mumbai received heavy to very heavy rain on 03rd and 04th July. The offshore trough from North Konkan to North Kerala was strong enough.
Cyclonic Circulation
A cyclonic circulation over East Uttar Pradesh was present for the week and the eastern part of monsoon trough shifted southward. Another cyclonic circulation was over the south Gujarat region.
Some districts of East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar again seriously affected by lightening. Many casualties were reported on Saturday.

Forecast– (06 July to 12 July)
A Cyclonic Circulation over the South Gujarat region has concentrated into low-pressure area. Gujarat state will get good rain with some heavy to very heavy rainfall.
A cyclonic circulation formed over Westcentral Bay of Bengal off Andhra Pradesh coast on 03rd of July also has become low. The monsoon trough is south of its normal position. Due to this Odisha West, Bengal Jharkhand Bihar will get rain with some heavy spell.
Central and North West India like Punjab Haryana Uttar Pradesh Delhi Uttarakhand East Rajasthan Vidarbha Gujarat will get good rain with some heavy spell in some area. Konkan and Goa coastal Karnataka Kerala will continue to get rain with less intensity.
Interior Maharashtra like Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada will get very little rain.
