Weekly forecast for the week from 19 June to 25 June 2023:
Biparjoy Remnant
The remnant of Cyclonic Storm BIPARJOY has crossed West Rajasthan and now lay centered over East Rajasthan as depression. It will continue to move east northeast ward and weaken further.
Monsoon Advance
Conditions are favourable for further advancement of monsoon over Odissa, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Bihar in coming two to three days.
Rainfall Activity
On 19th the remnant of cyclone will give rain to east Rajasthan and 20th, 21st and 22nd the system will give rain to West Uttar Pradesh.
On 22nd, 23rd and 24th Odissa, Bihar West Bengal and Jharkhand will observe moderate rainfall and at some places heavy rainfall.
On 20th 21st and 22nd Meghalaya, Assam and hill area of West Bengal will face heavy to very rain and at some places extremely heavy rain.
On 19th, 20th and 21st Kerala, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu will observe moderate rain.
South interior Karnataka and interior Tamil Nadu will observe heavy rain at some places during the same period.
Cyclonic Circulation
On 25th June a cyclonic circulation will form over Odissa and will move west northwest. This will give rain to central India and central west India in subsequent week
