Monsoon Onset
Though no low pressure area will form in Bay of Bengal like last year, monsoon is going to hit Andaman and Nicobar Island between 17 and 20 May. MJO is at present favourable. South westerly current is strong. Monsoon will reach Kerala by 1st June.
Possibility of Cyclone:
Around 13th of May a low will form, around 15th conditions are favourable for formation of Cyclone. It is likely to move NorthWest direction towards OMAN coast.
Thunderstorm Activities
In this week there will be many events of thunderstorm activity due to Western Disturbance and North South trough. Due to this situation there will be no heat wave conditions in most part of India.
Due to Western Disturbance Punjab, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh there is possibility of Andhi and thunder activities. North East states, Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal will observe thunder storm.
In the southern India, interior Kerala interior Karnataka will observe strong thunder activity.
Temperature
Temperature of Mumbai will be around 33℃0. Temperature of Telangana, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh will be around 38℃ to 39 ℃
