Monsoon Onset
Southwest monsoon today on 13th June, has covered whole Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha West Bengal, Bihar, most part of East UP, some part of Madhya Pradesh, West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Laddakh.
Low Pressure Systems
The low-pressure area lies over North East Bay of Bengal adjoining West Bengal and North Odisha coast.
On the West Coast, offshore trough runs from north Konkan to Lakshadweep area.
Rainfall
On 14, 15, 16 June, Konkan and Goa, coastal Karnataka will get heavy rain due to low at the Bay of Bengal.
Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Bihar, Sikkim, West Bengal hills and Northeast states will get rain a full week.
On 16, 17, 18 June rainfall over Konkan will reduce in intensity. Punjab, Haryana, Vidarbha, West Madhya Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh. south Madhya Maharashtra will get rain with thunder. Marathwada also will get rain with thunder.
