• A cyclonic circulation lies over North Pakistan and adjoining Punjab.
• Western Disturbance is crossing north India during this week.
• Wind discontinuity runs from south Madhya Maharashtra to interior Tamil Nadu.

Rainfall Activity
On 17th 18th and 19th

• Rain or snowfall over Gilgit, Baltistan, Jammu and Kashmir,
• Rainfall over Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Northern Part of Rajasthan, northern part of Haryana.
• Jammu and Kashmir may face one two heavy spell of rainfall on these days.

Thunder Activity

• On 17th 18th and 19th – Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya Manipur Tripura will also experience thunder shower.
• On 19th Konkan area and Madhya Maharashtra will observe thunder storm activity.
• On 20th 21st 22ndand 23rd coastal Karnataka will observe thunderstorm.

Temperature
Day temperature of Uttar Pradesh Delhi, Bihar, Jharkhand, plain areas of West Bengal, North Odissa, part of Chhattisgarh, eastern part of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Marathwada will be between 40 and 42 deg C. Some areas of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar may observe heat wave.
