Weekly forecast for the week from 26th December 2022 to 01st January 2023
Low Pressure System
The Depression over Bay of Bengal is now over Sri Lanka. By Monday 26th it will move to South Arabian sea giving heavy rain to south Tamil Nadu on 26th night. Fishermen are advised not to go out in to the sea in the area of south Tamil Nadu and off Kerala coast on 26th 27th December. In near future no another low is seen to reach Sri Lanka east coast or Tamil Nadu coast.
Cold Wave
On 26th and 27th there will be severe cold wave over Punjab and Haryana, cold wave over Himachal Pradesh Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Kutch and Saurashtra.
On 28th and 29th little relief and again cold wave will prevail over north west India.
On 29th and 30th a feeble Western Disturbance will be crossing Jammu and Kashmir. On 30th 31st and 01st there will be cold wave over North India.
On 26th dense fog over Punjab and Haryana after 27th the intensity of fog will be reduced over north India.

Light to moderate rain/snow fall over Arunachal Pradesh and Meghalaya during the week
