|Western Disturbance:
Two Western Disturbances are set to traverse North India after a prolonged interval, offering some respite from the intense cold wave. The initial disturbance is expected on January 30th, followed by the second one on February 3rd.
Snowfall & Rainfall:
29th January to 03rd February:
Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh will observe snow or rain from.
30th and 31st January – Himachal Pradesh will experience heavy snow or rainfall
30th January to 02nd February:
Plain areas Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh will observe rainfall.
01st and 02nd February.
Jharkhand plains of West Bengal will observe rainfall.
03rd and 04th February:
Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Uttarakhand again will experience snow or rain.
Himachal Pradesh may experience heavy snow or rain on 03rd and 04th.
Temperature:
Minimum temperature of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh will rise by 2 to 3 degree Celsius.
Dry weather will prevail over Central India and West India.
