Weekly forecast for the week from 30 January to 05 February 2023

Western Disturbance

Western Disturbance (WD) will be active over central and north India during 30 and 31 January. This WD is passing from west to east with induced cyclonic circulation over South West Rajasthan.

Rainfall over North India
It is pulling moisture from Arabian sea. On 30 and 31 January Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, North East Rajasthan, North Gujarat, North Madhya Pradesh parts of Chhattisgarh will experience rain on 30 and 31 January.

Haryana, Punjab, West Uttar Pradesh East Rajasthan may face hail at one or two place on 30 and 31 January.
No cold wave will prevail over central and North India.

Rainfall Over South India
In south India from 31 January night till 02nd February Sri Lanka will face heavy rain and Tamil Nadu will observe light rain. As the Well Marked Low of South East Bay of Bengal will intensify in to depression and reach east Sri Lanka by 01st February.
