Weekly forecast from 26th February to 03rd March 2024

Western Disturbance (WD)
From 26th February WD will be affecting North West India.

From 01st March a new and active western disturbance will reach north west India.

Rainfall due to Eind Discontinuity:
A prominent anticyclone lying over Bay of Bengal. Due to this anticyclone a wind discontinuity line formed over Central India.
Due to above situation rainfall will occur over Vidarbha Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh and Odissa on 26th and 27th February.
At some places of Vidarbha and Madhya Pradesh thunder storm may occur during the same period.

Snowfall:
Due to 26th WD, Gilgit Baltistan, Laddakh, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand will observe snowfall on 26th and 27th February.

On 27th and 28th Arunachal Pradesh will observe snowfall/ rainfall.

02nd and 03rd Due to 1st March WD, heavy snowfall and thunderstorm with hailstorm over North and Northwest India.
