Realised weather during the week

Last week’s there were two western disturbances which approached towards North India but both these western disturbances moved away northeastwards.

Day temperatures over peninsular India showing increasing trend and heat wave conditions prevailed over Tamilnadu on 8th March.

The diurnal variations of temperature is very large over Central India as nights were colder and days were hotter.

Temperature:
The lowest minimum temperature recorded in the plains was 6.5°C at Sikar ( Rajasthan) on 3rd March and at Bhatinda (Punjab) on 9th March.
The highest maximum temperature recorded over the plains was 41.0°C at Tirupati on 8th March.

Forecast for Week 10th March to 16th March 2019.
In next week heat wave will move to Telangana, interior Odisha, Marathwada and North Maharashtra like Dhule and Jalgaon.

Western Disturbance will affect the country on 11th, 14th and 15th March.
Day temperature of Saurashtra Kutch and North Konkan Mumbai also will increase from 14th onward.

Next week day temperature of following areas will increase and may reach to 40 degree Celsius or more.

North Madhya Maharashtra (Jalgaon Dhule and Nashik )
Marathwada (Aurangabad Jalana Parbhani Bid)
Telangana (Adilabad Hyderabad Karimnagar Nizamabad)
North Interior Karnataka (Bijapur Bagalkot Gulbarga)
Interior AP ( Anantpur Cuddapah Chittoor)
