Realized weather during the last week from 10 August to 16 August –
During this week, a whole country recorded heavy rainfall events.
On 9th August , a low pressure area formed over Northwest Bay of Bengal off North Odisha coast. It moved over Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh and became less marked on 10th August, however associated cylconic circulation lay over Rajasthan till 12th August.
On 13th August , another low pressure formed over Bay of Bengal. It moved over Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand and became well marked low pressure area within two days.
Monsoon Trough was south of its normal position during the week.
Due to this situation, heavy rain occurred over West coast of India as well as Central India and interior parts of peninsular India. The passage of cylconic circulation causes good rainfall over Rajasthan, North Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi , Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

Weather Forecast for the week form 17th August to 23rd August
A well marked low pressure area of Bay of Bengal will move West North West direction. Due to this movement, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, Gujarat and eastern parts of Rajasthan will receive heavy rain with some spell extremely heavy. Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab will receive moderate rainfall during the forthcoming week.
